I'm an artist and educator living a nomadic lifestyle. I'm in a transition moment right now. I spent the last decade teaching theatre, improv and creative writing. I was based in Baltimore, but now I'm looking for a new place to call home, I just don't know where yet, so I'm taking this opportunity to travel.

A little more about me: I am an outdoors lover. I also love yoga, meditation, and frisbee. I grew up in New Hampshire before moving to Baltimore. I'm a big fan vegetarian foods. Coffee, tea, and chocolate are my favorite vices. My favorite band is Florence & the Machine. Favorite emcee is Kendrick. I love folksy music, alternative rock, queer pop, hip-hop, and rnb. Recently I've been listening to Krishna Das, Alan Watts and Ram Dass recordings. I've also been reading the Tao Te Ching and A New Earth.

I've been taking a break from the news after binging quite a bit over the past two years. Deeply concerned about the immense level of death, poison, incarceration and extermination the planet is experiencing right now. Nonetheless, I am a politically conscious individual with a deep passion for community engagement. In the past, I've worked a lot with marginalized communities, like my LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC communities, people who are incarcerated and adults 55+. I'll be forever interested in the in intersections of art and activism.

Person-wise, I'm cis-gender, queer man with Celtic roots. I'm a deeply spiritual person. I'm goofy. I appreciate simplicity and coziness. I read Tarot cards and star charts. I do reiki and hands on healing. I'm agnostic about personality types, but I'm an INFJ, Gryffindor, Virgo that was born in the year of the Monkey, if that matters to you. TBD if it matters to me!

By the way, once upon a time, I greatly enjoyed cannabis and alcohol, but lately I've been on the wagon. I'm not forever sober, just exploring sobriety at this moment, if that makes sense.

I'm Couch Surfing because I love traveling, do not make a lot of money, and enjoy meeting fellow travelers. Authentic connections with locals is always a better experience than a hotel room or hostel in my opinion.
