ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Mexico City, and moved to the US at 18. I have lived in Paris and London too and it was awesome! I can say it has been the best experience of my life so far. I met great people from all around the world; Spain, Israel, Brazil, Japan, Holland, France and England and learn a little bit of this grain of sand in the great universe.

People say I have a great sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Take risks, never be afraid of the unknown and learn from your mistakes.

Fear fear itself

"Live the present because you will live in it for the rest of your life" -Facundo Cabral

Interests

Travel of course, I'm a sucker for Apple products, learning languages, watching foreign films, reading, collecting coins, writing, surfing the net (yeah, I waste a lot of time doing this), ahhh and for the most part, finding ways to earn frequent flyer miles! :D

Since moving to Denver, I have become a HUGE Broncos fan and an avid skier.

Oh and I nearly forgot watching Mexico's National Team play (and lose) every 4 years in the World Cup :P exciting! double :P

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies: Back to the Future (I and II), the Godfather (I and II), Scent of a Woman, Napoleon, Eat Pray Love, Paris, L'Auberge Espagnole and Les Poupees Russes.

Music: I can pretty much listen to any kind of music, but preferably I'd say pop and rock in Spanish, French and English. I recently went to ACL and really liked Yeasayer!

Books: anything that teaches something, history books or self-help for example. Eat Pray Love is AWESOME! eating great food, travel and being in the look for balance (you cannot go wrong with that right?), I am currently reading Kitchen Confidentials by the man Bourdain and it is great! Next in my list? The Alchemist... side note: since writing this the biography of Steve Jobs because my papyrus, my ying to my yang.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I have done, mmmmm going to Paris for a long weekend only (not because of work but because of love hehe). Spent the night in the basement of an old Parisian building I randomly found while being homeless for a day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences living abroad and learning languages. Ohhh I have stories, many stories of the little troubles I have encountered on the road.

What most interests me in life is to learn from each person I know, and if I can give my two cents I am more than willing to do so.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
