I'm a musician and lecturer living in the central part of İzmir (Kahramanlar/Alsancak). Right across a huge green area. I occasionally be with my 11 year-old son. I got a free room and a pull out couch. Since I'm not a hard-working man, i think i can help you to show some good qualities of Izmir. Most of all it's a good chance for my son to know more about different cultures.
