Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show the world that I exist and to see the world that also exists.
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Denver, but have been living in Portland since June 2010. I'm very chill and a generally open and real person. I really like to experience new things and meet new people. I'm quite adaptive, and usually can be talked into doing any fun thing and appreciate generosity always.
PHILOSOPHY
Give and you shall receive - you may recognize this, it´s not actually mine... but I completely agree with it!
Time and People move, baby.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I´ve just been surfing on people´s couches and meeting the local people. Now I'm settled for a while in this city and have opened my doors... They say that you meet everyone for a reason and that everybody meets you for a reason.. so I guess you could just say I´m out fulfilling my destiny. So are you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I tried to document it as best I could in my photo section... but here goes:
I surfed in Uruguay through a friend for the first time at this lovely little apartment for a few days and met some other CSers for dinner and thought what an amazing idea and organization and community!!
THEN I tried to surf in Paraguay but the elections were in full swing and so no one could host me, but i did hang out with the CS community Asuncion the whooole time and they were so friendly and amazing and my favorite CS community up to this day.
I surfed unofficially in Bolivia and Peru, as i couldn't find one on CS that wasn't full - but met up for dinners and drinks a few times with CSers ending my SA CS adventure.
Here in Europe I've met up with the Edinburgh CS community which watches movies and goes dancing together and given out some small advice to visitors coming through...
I spent a night in Madrid with the lovely Carmen as our host as we oriented oursevles for our stay in Spain... and a night in Belfast with Des and Helen and Jeff - for all their first times doing CS!
I've introduced a few good friends to couchsurfing and now I"m ready to host! Welcome!
More surfing since:
Port Angeles with Sven with a very late arrival on our part and a cancelled Canada trip meant he got to take us up Hurricane Ridge!
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with Jorge and Aurea, such fun and lively hosts who showed us a great time! and their sweet dog Camila
Interests
Traveling, reading, poetry, dancing, laughing, quietness, music, art, cultures, people, love, everything everything everything... except professional sports really. On occassion, its way fun to go to the games with friends or family, but I´ve never sat through a whole game of anything on TV and doubt I ever will.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My life. My life has been amazing, I´ve gotten to do so much and experience so much but I still want more, but being still a while it suiting me just fine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I´m open, flexible and adaptable. I like to learn. I´m not sure exactly what it is I teach, though I know I have changed some people´s minds about Americans thank goodness, because we aren't just like on TV.
I can share environmental passion and climate change awareness, I can share travel advice and stories, I can share lovely cooking, and I can share some interests with you I'm sure!
