About Me
Hi y'all,
I'm a country girl born in the state known for sunflowers and the land of prairies (Kansas). After 10 years my family and I moved to California. I then grew up in the desert near Death Valley, Ca. Then when it was time for college I moved upstate about 3 hours from San Francisco in a town called Chico. After graduating from school I am now traveling and looking for a career in Transportation Planning or City Planning.
After traveling in Europe the summer of 2015 I have grown to love and appreciate people of cultures different from mine. That trip allowed me to grow as a person and in knowledge about the world.
I like to hike, take walks, swim, looking at artwork, I love creative people, I love hanging with friends whether we have some shots or watch a movie and enjoying each other's company. I like spending time with people and getting to know them.
I don't mind playing cards or boards games. I also love going outside and being active but I can also be a homebody. I enjoy visiting new places and soaking it all in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I figured it was a good way to meet and talk to people from different countries...the locals always know all the good stuff. Plus, I haven't couch surf before. I would love to host but not home at the moment.
I have also heard that this is the site to be on if you are wanting that one-on-one contact with those whom live in a specific location you are traveling too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie Pop ("Empire of the Sun"kind of stuff)
I like all kinds of music though, anywhere from Rock-Country.
Movies: Love comedies! Almost anything with Will Ferrel in it.
Books: Murder Mysterious are interesting. I prefer books that will keep you guessing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to hike Diamond Head on the island of Oahu in Hawaii (used to be an active volcano).
I have volunteered with Habitats for Humanities helping with the construction and demolition on two separate homes. The homes were built for families whom have very little.
I got to spend a summer in Madrid, Spain and worked at Uhostels there.
I have lived in three different states: Kansas, Washington, & California.
