I am a college student trying to get out and see the world before I have to get a real job. I am studying nutrition science at Indiana University to fulfill my interest in improving global health. I love being active and trying new things. Adventure is my favorite word! I am inspired by those around me doing incredible things instead of leading ordinary lives.

My best friend and I are trying to travel in Iceland inexpensively. We would like a place to crash at night and travel during the day. We were hoping to stay with a local or someone who has traveled the area so we could get travel recommendations and learn more about Icelandic culture.

I love the idea of helping others get out to see the world on a budget, I don't think that the expense should stop people from trying new things. I want to travel but I'm also in school which does not come cheap. I think couchsurfing is awesome and a great way to bring people together and restore faith in humanity by helping strangers.
