I'm an artist, travelling with my best friend Jack, the Mathematician.

Jack and I are both very laid back, and low maintenance people. We are on a bucket list adventure, and are looking for the most unique experiences of each city.

I'm really into art, spiritualism, democratic socialism, beer, food, food, food, lots of nature and animals. My voice will get really high pitched if I see a dog.

Jack is really into math, Adam Scott, broadway music, Indian food, dancing, and making people uncomfortable. Jack's voice never gets high pitched, as he is the voice of reason.

We are both really into adventures, cat sweaters, puns, and kitsch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Jack the Mathematician has completed the first set of tasks on his quest to the be a Master Mathematician. So to celebrate, we are travelling around the U.S. on a half year road trip. We are looking forward to meeting new people, and enjoying a local experience. We both love food, so we offer to cook dinner with supplies gathered from both host and guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love trip hop. But I mostly listen to the Beck Pandora Station. Jack listens to show tunes and knows an awful lot about that genre.
We both like movies with dark humor, the darker the better. Death Becomes Her, Heathers, etc. We're both pretty into movies so that would be a lively discussion indeed. We both read, but at the moment all I have been reading is language text books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could easily teach one about art history or color theory. I also know a lot of mythology. Jack could teach you about math or music theory. Or how to be sarcastic.
