Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because it offers the unique opportunity to not just visit a place but to live it. It gives one the chance to not just show someone around town but to help them understand what an area is all about. What I hope to get out of Couchsurfing is an in depth feel for how people live throughout the world, and when I'm in a position to host I hope to do the same.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is all over the board; I like anything from old-school R&B to reggae to yes, even country, and everything in between. I'm always looking for new music and can dig just about anything that helps create a good mood.
I love to read books about history or that are set in the past. The last book I read was Hard Revolution by George Pelecanos.
It's rare that I sit down and watch a full movie, but I like the Departed and Dodgeball a lot (I know they're complete opposites but oh well)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through my job with AmeriCorps NCCC I taught nutrition lessons at 7 elementary schools in Little Rock, Arkansas for three months. This was an amazing experience because nutrition and exercise are two things I am very passionate about. It was also my first exposure to being on the other side of the classroom, which was great for me as I plan to pursue a teaching credential.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk about history and sports all day. I'd love to learn a new language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
