Overview
About Me
I'm an Army brat turned Navy wife traveling the world with the love of my life. I'm an artist (mostly sculpture and painting), and I'm a total foodie! I love meeting new people, learning about other cultures, and making connections around the world.
I love to cook! Sometimes I am not great at it, but I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen.
I have been a nonstop traveler since I was born. When I was younger it was a pain, but into college I did study abroad and my heart remained adventurous. I want to see all corners of the globe now :) My favorite place is Turkey, and hopefully one day I will be able to return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I saw a documentary on couchsurfing years ago but haven't had the opportunity to try it out for myself. I have always been in a place for far too long to be able to. But now is my chance, and I hope through my traveling experience, I will start to host people too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music; enjoy new movies but favorite the sci-fi, dystopian action films; and currently reading House of Leaves, my favorite is Brave New World.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Married my best friend :)
Teach, Learn, Share
When I was on study abroad, I taught English to some friends that I had made along the way.
I'm terrible with languages, but I try! I know a LITTLE bit of: Navajo (I'm the Native American kind of brown), Spanish, Japanese, Greek, I've lost all the Latin I know except for "hello" (Salve) and how to pronounce scientific names. But I can teach you curse words in almost all of those, plus Albanian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation. I love (unabridged) storytelling. I'm the unfortunate master at that. But I really do enjoy getting to know people's lives and sharing the experience by word of mouth. I think it's such an important part of the human experience and to the history of our lives.
