Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing looking for generous people who would let me sleep on their couch in a warm (or cool depending on weather) place when it's too dangerous for me to sleep in my car. I recently became homeless about 6 months ago when my childhood home went into foreclosure. As of right now I'm bouncing around, but I do want to expand my current network and put my name out there in case any job arises.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all genres of music, except country. I love Disney and other animated films. And I am an avid non-fiction reader, I like to read instructional/step-by-step books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't call it amazing, but it's the only thing i can think of. I used to work in a small convenience store in northern Illinois and one night a little old lady (a regular customer) had come in right before we closed. (It was snowy and icey outside) and I couldn't risk her slipping and falling on her walk home and not be able to get up, so I gave her a cup of cocoa and drove her home when my shift was over.

I love to teach what I know, I'm willing and have the extra supplies to teach someone how to cross stitch, crochet, or knit!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything I bring into the house (food, crafts, games) are always available to anyone kind enough to open their home to me.
