About Me

ABOUT ME

Two laidback guys on a 7 month journey through many european countries. We're 4 months in, but running out of money fast!
I love to explore, city or wilderness. I believe the ancient Romans referred to me as 'permirificissimus' In frontcountry I love to cook (Indian/cuban is my favorite!), listen to music, drink cider, and make puns. In backcountry I mostly love to hunt for mushrooms and other wild edible plants, make weird noises knowing nobody is around, and do things involving primitive living.

PHILOSOPHY

"We are all but testicles in the great scrotum of time."
-A.G.

Music, Movies, and Books

The last 5 I read were 1984, Snow Crash, Contact, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Dune and now I'm re-reading Brave New World.
Movies... Enter the Void, No country for old men, Persepolis, anything by Darren Aronofsky, Tarantino, and the Coen brothers is bound to please me.
Music... uh.. i really love the Mountain Goats. and Modest mouse, Maria Callas, old-timey folk, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Cat Power, I dunno. lots of stuff. all over the place we'll talk about it later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen lotsa cool stuff! Wild Galapagos tortoises, the amazon rainforest, backpacking the Olympic national Rainforest... i dunno. you don't wanna hear about this here. But I am currently on a 7 month journey with my friend Russell through Europe already having been to Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, and England :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I know lots about mushrooms and foraging! and I'm currently on a question to learn the main 88 constellations. I know plenty of random facts too. I speak spanish. and I'm really good at popping the plastic bubbles that come with packages. I'm pretty much an expert.
