I love to visit new locations, finding adventures that are off the beaten path, discovering beautiful places and then reading there for hours.

I don't take things too seriously and have pretty sick senses of humor, but I am respectful of others if they are offended by it.

I love history, politics, and philosophy and seeing how they blend in to each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to experience that odd sense of total immersion the first time I stood in front of the Squid and the Whale at the American Natural History Museum.

There was an absolute peace and contentment I felt reading beneath the giant cottonwood tree in front of the lodge at Zion National Park.

I was fortunate enough for the pieces to fit for me to take a tour of the West Wing of the White House. The Oval Office is much smaller than you'd expect.
