ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Taylor. I'm a working glass artist. I get to play with fire and make pretty things, which I think is pretty cool.

I also work as a handyman, if you need any small repairs/maintenance to your home there's a good chance I can help you out.

I studied art, philosophy, and natural sciences at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Reading is one of my favorite activities, it's like having a conversation with the greatest minds in history. I also love movies, sports (especially college football), shooting the breeze, long walks on the beach, etc, etc.

I've always loved the ancient Greek belief that hospitality is sacred. That's what drew me to couchsurfing more than a decade ago, and it's been such an awesome force in my life.

I believe in taking chances on happiness, self-respect, personal responsibility, and living as honestly, both with myself and with others, as I possibly can.

I've been lucky enough to meet some really great people through couchsurfing, and have made some friends that I still keep in touch with long after my journeys. I've also been able to host quite a few folks at my home, and always love meeting new people that way.
