About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore this great country!

ABOUT ME

Hi all! I am 25 years old and I am in my second year of medical school at CU Denver.

I graduated from Oberlin College in 2010 with a degree in Neuroscience. I am a HUGE science nerd, but this often comes as a surprise to people. I even have a science tattoo.

I am the sort of person who has a small handful of really great friends and I love spending my time with them. Otherwise, if they aren't around, I enjoy going out on my own and talking to new people. I've yet to find someone who doesn't have a good story to tell.

I just asked my friend what she thinks of me and she said, "You're open minded about things and fun-loving. You're also very kind."

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to be normal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mostly surfed, but as I am not able to travel as much these days I am hosting.

I have a huge career-defining, medical licensing exam coming up so I spend most of my time (when I'm not playing Derby) studying. Therefore I am a great host if you need a place to crash while you are rolling through town or want a low key host. I do still have fun from time to time, but I can't promise any nights on the town at this time!

Interests

I play Roller Derby, enjoy trying the numerous craft brews around town and spend a lot of time studying (which yes, I do enjoy!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a tour through a floating village in Cambodia.

On a spontaneous road trip through Missouri we found a side of the road Americana Antique shop with an owner named John who was full of the craziest stories I have ever heard. They were to weird to be made up, from middle of the woods cat surgeries to escaped convicts in town. Just nutty stuff. Thats when I feel in love with America!
