I'm a recently separated Veteran. My passions are playing and listening to interesting music, along with keeping up with my fitness and school work because I'm basically getting paid to do both. I can solve a Rubik's Cube in under a minute, and I memorized all of the words to Tyler The Creator's 'Yonkers'. 100BPM is my ideal tempo to boogey down. My 1 rep max Deadlift is 250lbs. I've snowboarded in 5 different Countries, and have been in all hemispheres/circumnavigated the globe. I have a small collection of about 100 vinyl records, the greatest distance I've ever run continuously was 10 miles, and some day I want to go camping on the salt flats in the middle of Summer so I can look at the Milky Way just to get a real first-person perspective of how small I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I suppose apart from just wanting to diversify my 'social portfolio', I'm also interested in accruing more relationships. I've had some tendencies towards seclusion during my career and meeting new people I feel helps to develop one's sense of self and perspective.
