ABOUT ME

Steven and I are both full time musicians, we have a house in Melbourne, Victoria but we spend most of our time these days on the road, traveling from one end of Australia to another.

We mostly preform as a Duo called Taylor & Silk (Sarah Taylor & Steven Silk) but also Lead a 7 piece Jazz/Cover Band called The Vintage Suits and a Funk/ Originals band called The Natural Culture when we are in Melbourne. (Sometimes we fly the rest of the band to wherever we are for festivals and corporate functions or weddings, but mostly it's just Steven & I)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently having my first CS experience staying in a lovely little spot in Baton Rouge LA, USA. My host is a really nice open friendly guy who is setting up a community Radio Station.... Stay tuned for more CS adventures...

Music, Movies, and Books

I can appreciate any type of music but perform mostly Jazz or contemporary tunes with a Jazzy twist..... Movies.... well I am a little eclectic.... and books ... mostly fiction, tho i don't get much time to read as I spend most of my time with music and arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have together walked to the lost city in Colombia (Ciudad Perdida)... Admittedly it nearly killed me but Steven had a great time!
