Always search for the greatest within you, and share that with others. Live your life how you want to live it. The impact you leave on this earth is how you've impacted those around you. Live for now, not the future (and especially not for after death).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Starting to learn. Joined 14 April 2011. Would love to link up with fellow Couch Surfers in Oxford and look forward to traveling and surfing couches in Europe and Brazil in 2011.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Swansea (Wales) and Cirencester and Bolton (England).
I regular give advice to Oxford-bound couch surfers, but am not able to host at the moment, unfortunately.

I like trying new things. Not a huge movie fan, but enjoy the odd comedy (e.g. The Hangover). Harry Potter bores me (the only one I've seen is the last one). I dig alternative rock, but also jazz, classical, hip hop, house, and music from different parts of the world depending on the mood. Books - usually nonfiction, tangible stuff around social impact. Reading Creating a World Without Poverty by Mohammed Yunus. Kite Runner the last fiction book I read.

Completed 2010 Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in 10hrs28min. 3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42km run.

I can talk a lot about social impact measurement, HIV/AIDS in Southern & East Africa, refugee education, training for triathlons, a bit about football (soccer) and a bit about business. I'm interested in learning more about social entrepreneurship, marketing, social innovation, frontiers in renewable energy, and science and technology in general.
