ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in New Orleans. I spent three years traveling the country, staying in Houston, Fort Collins, CO, a brief stay in Chicago, and a few years in Connecticut. I finally settled down in the mountains of Boone, North Carolina where I attended Appalachian State University. I now live Raleigh, NC where I work and play.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a big couch,a really comfy chaise, and a futon. I help out by letting people crash at my apartment for a little while if it fits my schedule.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing in Fort Collins, Colorado was the best traveling experience I've had so far. I crashed with an old friend in a great town and made some new friends. I hope to get back to Fort Collins soon. I've also surfed in Charleston for a few days which was fantastic.

Intereses

I love sports. I have that competitive tendency that keeps me driven. I also enjoy skydiving, and started my AFF training last summer.

Music of all kinds: Currently I'm listening to Dr. Dog, Miles Davis, Ratatat, Dave Brubeck, Thelonius Monk, The Velvet Underground, The Avett Brothers, Tom Waits, Bon Iver, Modest Mouse, Dylan, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Neutral Milk Hotel, Mos Def, Biggie...
Favorite writer is the great Jack Kerouac. I was given "On the Road" as a gift when I was 17 and it helped spur my need for travel.
Favorite movies: Cool Hand Luke -- If you haven't seen it, watch it.
