我做过的一件不可思议的事情

How should I start?! I think I should start saying joining couchsurfing was the best decision I've ever made (no, they are not paying me for publicity yet), even tho I had no clue of that until 2 years later. Well, after not using (or remembering) couchsurfing for a very long time, one day I decided to log into the app and post about my next trip. Turns out one beautiful day this Canadian gentleman, who wisely used a picture of him and a dog as his profileft picture (we all know they make everyone look better) messaged me and we actually haven't stopped since. Later on, on another beautiful day, he comes and tells me how he always wanted to come to Brazil and how he is planning on doing that during new years. Being the amazingly nice girl I am, I kindly offered to show him around Rio and suggested a trip to this amazing place called Arraial do Cabo for neWindows years eve (Google it and start to plan your trip there as well! I just suggest maybe going on low season..check out Buzios as well). Well, the day of his arrival was approaching and even tho he seemed actually nice and not a rapist, I just decided to ask my dad to come take a tour around Rio with us before I would go to Arraial with him. That later turned out to be our first day...yes, my dad took us out on our first date! We went to Arraial, our place flooded, cockroaches showed up to welcome us and all sorts of things happened..but that's history. I just know that by the time he left I was dating this Canadian Mr Charming man, who nows turns out to be my future husband, love of my life. So thank you, couchsurfing!
