ABOUT ME

Thomas is a very open minded person. He enjoys socializing and hanging out with friends and new people. He's very very uncomplicated, easy to get along with and open to trying out new things.

Some more facts about Thomas: He's German. Apart from his mother tongue German, he also speaks fluent English and decent French and Dutch and also fairly good Spanish. After his studies in France, the Netherlands and the USA, he now lives in Dublin for two years and works at big multinational internet company.

Interests

I enjoy hanging out with friends and talking about things like cultural experiences, languages and personal development. To learn more about other cultures and places I enjoy travelling (I go on weekend trips almost once a month). In addition, I enjoy going to concerts and clubbing with friends. My favorite music includes House, Dub Step and Drum n Bass but I also Jazz/Funk a lot and obviously mixes of those (for example Nujazz like Mr Scruff).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since 2007 I've been living abroad and since then lived in five different countries. It all started with my Erasmus to France where I enjoyed being exposed to another culture and hanging out with people from allover Europe. After that I moved to the Netherlands to study there for two years. I had a great time in Utrecht and enjoyed Dutch student life (picking up Dutch just by making friends with locals and trying it out day-by-day). My truly greatest experience, however, was a semester in Florida, where I met many people from around the world. Having a group mainly consisting of Europeans from various countries, I started feeling truly European (when people asked where I was from, I would just say "Europe"). Since then I would consider myself a world citizen rooted in Europe. Since two years I am living my international dream by working in a company with people from 70+ countries.
