About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working through the Summer to fund travel in the Winter.

ABOUT ME

Female, 42, well-travelled, open minded, veggie, spontanious, likes meeting new people. I travel throughout the UK for work (and further afield for fun) and am not a fan of hotels - have heard good things about CS when travelling through Central America so thought I would join up! My next trip is Croatia (via Budapest) and I would love to meet local people and fellow surfers.

PHILOSOPHY

You only ever regret the things you didn't do!

Each day is there to be lived to the full. Manners and respect cost nothing and should be used more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show you around Bristol, I am working on making a spare bed to accommodate guests on my narrowboat :) I will spread the word to my friends Nationwide, and get them to join CS too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No 'official'experiences as yet.

Interests

Travel, live music, festivals, photography, good wine, veggie food, old VWs, good gossips over a pint.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - love to loose myself in a good film, I like foreign 'arty' films aswell as the more mainstream biggies - black comedy, anything with a dry wit.

Music - love live music and have managed to wangle working around it a lot. All types though mainly indie bands, 80s, bit of Britpop, generally will listen to anything from Mozart to Meatloaf (just!) :)

Books - Biographies, clever novels that keep you guessing, silliness (Dave Gorman type of things).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

5 week solo trip through India in 2008, complete assault of the senses every day but loved every bit of it (sometimes in hindsight!) amazing country, amazing people :)

Teach, Learn, Share

can teach some basic cooking skills, local knowledge. I'm always grateful of photography tips, I'm forever snapping on my phone but would love to learn properly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully soon I can offer space on my boat , maybe a little cruise.
