Originally from Kentucky, grew up in Charleston, SC. I just graduated from the College of Charleston and plan on going to graduate school next fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just learned about couch surfing and think its great. I am more than willing to let someone crash at my place to keep the community going.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed before, but would love the experience.

Interests

I love being outdoors: hiking, camping, biking, kayaking, surfing. I studied politics and the environment with a focus on food systems. I am fairly talented in the kitchen and am passionate about local foods.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love horror films and westerns and some of my favorite books are One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Slaughterhouse Five, Oryx and Crake, Lord of the Flies, The Lathe of Heaven, and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I like a lot of different kinds of music, but some of my favorites are Widespread Panic, Sonic Youth, Talking Heads, Deadmau5, Mos Def, Avett Brothers, The Black Keys, and Aphex Twin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I interned with the National PArk Service in California for four months and spent most of the time camping and hiking in the forest. It was incredible.
