About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world Outside of the Texas Hill country

ABOUT ME

Im a recent graduate from a small liberal arts school in Texas, where I lived my entire life. Im currently living in Cairo and have been here for just voer 2 months, teaching High School, trying to learn the language and soaking up the Culture.

I very laid back, and love to explore new places. Before I was in Egypt I did a month or so backpacking through Europe as I had never been there before, Amazing Experience. I am of the opinion that the only way to truly get to know a city is to get hopelessly lost in it and have managed to prove this philosophy correct in 8 countries on 4 continents this past year.

PHILOSOPHY

'Not all who Wander are Lost', the only way to make it through life is to make your own way. the most important thing you can have is a good story, any experience, good or bad, is worht it if you get a good story out of it.

When the Impending Zombie Apocalypse comes and wipes out society, how will you be useful to help survive and rebuild civilization?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am Brand New to CS so I am hoping to bring a sense of Souther Comfort to anyone traveling through the MidEast

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as of yet...Wanna help me fix that?

Interests

I love beer and am in the process of learning how to brew (with mixed results). Unfortunatly Cairo has terrible beer selection and no place for me to buy my brewing supplies, so I need to make a shipment from the states when I head back for Xmas. I get by though

I play the Harmonica and love making music. Any travelers packing a guitar is a major plus. Music is an international language and I've had some cool times playing with people who I couldnt trade a word with otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If you haven't experienced New Orleans during Mardi Gras without a hotel and no precise plans as to where you're going to sleep, I highly recommend it
