ABOUT ME

I don't want to scare anyone off, but... yes, I do. :-) Here's the thing, no one would ever describe me as "laid back". If you like to think of yourself as a free sprited hippie, you'll probably not feel at home in my flat which is decidedly incense-free. Because I often work offshore (where the male/female ratio is about 50 to 1), when I am home I simply enjoy being home. We go to bed at "a decent hour" and play board games with our friends on Sunday evenings, dishes are done the same day they are dirtied and dinner with guests is always 3 courses with both red and white wine. I "do" cheese platters, and keep puff pastry in the freezer in case someone unexpectedly stops by for coffee. This is the kind of person I am, and it's probably best to just be honest about it (although it doesn't make me sound very exciting) so no one is disappointed when I theatrically yawn and say "gee, I'm beat" at 10pm. I like meeting new people, but preferably the kind of people who turn up on time and take their shoes off at the front door...

Centres d'intérêt

We both love travel (of course, wouldn't be at this site otherwise), I do typical woman-y things like bake cookies and knit sweaters. I really enjoy cooking and wine. My boyfriend is geeky, he is a very talented chess player and is a poker addict just like every other Norwegian man seems to be at the moment.

I read lots of popular science and fiction, he reads philosophy and dreams of being a writer. We don't have a television, but like movies.

Madagascar. Unforgetable. Possibly the best few weeks of my life...I would go back in a heartbeat!
