ABOUT ME

I have just spent 5 years living in the fantastic city of Brighton on England's south coast. It is a great place and it is my home but I can't wait to go off on an another adventure. I teach English so I'm using this to go and live in Spain. I have never been before but the culture, lifestyle and food all really appeal to me. The main thing for me is to jump right in and learn some Spanish as soon as possible. It would be great to meet Spanish people in Granada who are up for showing me a bit of their city as this is surely the best way to learn.

I really enjoy meeting people who are grounded and up for sharing their experiences of life and I'm always up for going out, drinking, laughing and having a good time.

I'm originally from Bristol in the south-west of England and my family live in Liverpool which is another great city I love to spend time in. I studied Politics and International Development at uni an so I'm really interested in how we all live together on this little planet. Since graduating I've become much more appreciative of people who are involved in their local community and bring positive change to their part of this place.

I'm definitely an optimist and can not wait to get to Spain and start meeting people.

Earning respect and giving it back. I try to be considerate and help out people along this journey we are all taking. I have music laughter in my life every day and always stand up for what I believe in.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just discovered CS but it seems like a brilliant idea and I'm looking forward to becoming involved for a long time.

Intereses

Primarily music, but I love learning and think it is important to be interested in most things. I like to be able to talk to as many people as possible and to be able to contribute to most conversations.
My music taste is very wide, from contemporary Hip Hop and Electronica to older Jazz, Psych, African music and just about everything in between.
I find geography and history fascinating and I also have a passion for film photography. I love contemporary art and love to visit installations and galleries wherever I go. I try to keep active and go running or cycling regularly. I'm very lucky as I live by the beach so these pass times are always framed with a beautiful view.
