Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By sharing my couch and random, fun times with other travelers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couchsurfed myself, but I have had friends do it who have had really positive experiences. Hearing their stories made me want to try surfing myself and to offer up my couch to other travelers in order to see a different side of the countries I visit!
Interests
reading, dancing, singing cheesy songs, being with friends, seeing new places, watching movies, jogging, outdoor-ish activities (hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, canoeing, swimming)

Music: I like to listen to pretty much everything, but Im not too fond of Country and Western, Opera, or Heavy Metal
Books: I LOVE reading, and read all the time. My favorites are Native Son, Into Thin Air...anything that makes you think or shows you new things. Admittedly, my guilty pleasure is Twilight
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Machu Picchu was incredible... but spending the last year living in England and traveling around has been pretty amazing too
Teach, Learn, Share
the most spectacular recipe for tortillas EVER:
-2 cups flour
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 cup softened butter
-3/4 cup warm water (approximately)
add the dry ingredients together, then rub the butter into the dry mixed, then slowly add the warm water (works best and is the most fun if you mix it with your hands. dont forget to wash!)
