I worked in the Middle East for a year right out of college and couch surfed on a few vacations. Since moving home I have made a family with my wife and dog in our house in Marquette, MI and haven't used the site as much.

I am an avid mountain biker, hiker, swimmer, canoe & kayak enthusiast, and most other outdoor activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, especially ones traveling and with interests. I think couchsurfing shows that there are still friendly people in the world and you can be safe without having to stay at a chain hotel while getting from point a to point b and make friends along the way.
