ABOUT ME

We've been living in Ghent for (Thomas) 4 and (Karen) 7 years and decided to make it our permanent home. Ghent is a cosy city with great bars, restaurants, shops, cultural activities and lots of alternative people, it really grows on you.

We like to visit exhibitions in SMAK or Museum Dr. Ghuislain, go to free jazz concerts in Hot Club de Gand, debates at the Vooruit, gather up with friends for a drink or just go for an evening walk through the city.

Couch Surfing is the best way to indulge in the unexspected. The last two years we've met some great people and spend really fun days and nights with them while exploring beautifull places, we would recommend to everyone who keeps an open mind.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Karen: 2 weeks Indonisia, 1 month India, 1 month United States/Canada and a lot of places in Europe.
Thomas: 3 months South Africa, 1 month India, 2 weeks China, 1 month United States/Canada and and a lot of places in Europe.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Karen knows a thing or two about cooking, the best Belgian bands and art in general. Thomas is great with photography, computer and politics.
