I'm a relaxed, but active person with a lot of energy most days. I've been in Bellingham for over 20 years and completely love the place. I've toured the San Juans in a kayak, climbed many of the mountains in the cascades, biked extensively at Galbraith, hike about 4 times per week, and can make a mean mac n' cheese.

I'm on sabbatical right now, so I have lots of time to show you around, or at least give you pointers on the best places for whatever interests you in the area. At the house, we can make music, have drinks, start a fire and share stories, or just veg if you like. I'm also an instructor with the Bellingham Mountaineers, so I'd be happy to get you up on some rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 500 miles of the Te Araroa
Climbed Mt. Shuksan Fischer Chimneys route
Toured and lived out of a kayak in the San Juans for 7 days (not so difficult, but a super memorable experience)
Wrote and recorded an album (I'll be happy to play/sing for you if you ask.)
