About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At this point, I'm not too sure. I set this up so long ago, before moving to Chile, with the intention to help people looking for a place to crash in Chicago. Also, I had been planning a European trip for myself in which I thought this was a good route. I hope to utilize this site more in the future if I get the opportunity to break away from responsibility for a bit.
Interests
I love to explore... I know that's so broad and trite, but I mean that in a lot of ways. I like to explore wherever I'm living, going out for walks, just looking around, learning different streets, parks, buildings, etc. I love to explore myself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, which I feel like I've come to understand how to do so in a more thorough sense once I began living abroad. Isolation from comfort really opens up a new path for self-discovery and I just think its amazing. I like to explore different means of expression, art particularly. Experimental art (another broad term) has always been the most attractive to me. I find it to be the most challenging and also the most cathartic. Trying to break down someone's though process or meaning and interpreting that then into my own meaning or applying it to myself is a beautiful form of reflection.

Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach English. I can't say I'm certified in anyway, but I love helping others practice and learn their English.
I would love to learn Spanish THOROUGHLY. I took some classes in high-school and forgot most of it. Living in Chile, I've only learned by speaking on the streets and at work, so I am not fluent.
