I am an Italian-American from New York City, and I went to university in Pittsburgh, USA until the summer of 2010. Since then, I lived in Istanbul for two months and then worked in market research in London for the past five years. I'm now back in London after having spent six months in Oaxaca, Mexico volunteering with a microfinance organization. Now I'm back in Europe, I want to make sure I continue to have adventures and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to meet locals and make friends while travelling.
I couch surfed in Norway and had a marvelous time. I have hosted two people in my London home so far - they were both lovely and felt like long-lost cousins!

Interests

Food, mainly...

Other than food, I practice Qi Gong from time to time and I play the violin in an amateur orchestra. Don't ask me to play, though -- I hadn't picked up my violin in ten years!
