CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to ride my bicycle across the northern tier of the United States. My dad was unable to complete this ride. I now want to do it for the both of us. This is my goal and my desire.

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is David Coleman and I am a High School English teacher and College Writing Instructor in Southern Maine. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Colorado to attend Fort Lewis College, in Durango. It is there I met and married my lovely wife, Emily. We have two amazingly smart and talented children (Chaya and Evan). In 2001, we moved from Colorado to Maine to be closer to Emily's family and we have been here ever since.

I suppose that if someone were to ask my best friends about me, they would say that I am a kind, compassionate, and considerate person. I love, love, love to laugh, have fun, and discover the world. I am spontaneous and believe in the the power of "Now". For the past 20 years, my number one goal has to help others reach their unique potential... Now it's my turn. I aspire to travel the world, live, love, and suck the marrow out of every ounce of life that I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will do my best to be a reciprocal partner in the CouchSurfing community. I aspire to participate by hosting whenever I can as well as surfing when appropriate. I am so looking forward to meeting new people and expanding my community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of 4/12/2012, I have little experience with CouchSurfing. My hope and esire is for this to change.
