ABOUT ME

I'm a singer-songwriter by passion and by trade, but I'm also a collector of stories, friendships, and moss. I love a good cup of coffee or tea, foods of just about any ethnicity, and spending time on the road. Also, there's nothing better than insightful or entertaining conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have it figured out. But I like to think that the universe does... I'll trust in that, even when 49.9% of me is filled with doubt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to cook with hosts, or head out to dinner. And I'm especially inclined to share my music with folks (provided they're interested in hearing it, of course)! Or I'm fine with being a fly on the wall. I'm pretty low maintenance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a touring musician and avid traveller, I've seen my share of couches... as well as a number of cats, children, etc. who have felt inclined to wake me up bright and early. I'm down with that. Seize the day, right?

I'm amazed to have the opportunity to drive around and play songs for people. It's pretty astounding. But in terms of moments I will never forget, my highlight reel is the temples and cedar trees on Mount Koyasan in Japan, the Redwood forests of northern California, the rocky coast of Maine, and the glowworm caves of Australia and New Zealand.

I'm a science buff but I want to learn more. I can give you (very basic) guitar or piano lessons. And I'm down with sharing any sort of creative process from crafting to cooking.

I would bring you a Chicago pizza or hot dog but I don't think that travels well. I will play you songs if you want (and give you a CD if you're into it!).
