About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy Milan - still trying ;)
ABOUT ME
I consider myself openminded, I'm eager to meet new people from different places. I like to speak - a lot - with people, I'm a very curious person and want to understand things, but (as everyone) sometimes (very rarely to say the truth) I switch to the "introspective" mood: I like to read and to stay alone. I enjoy watching film and I'm not the "disco" type (well, sometimes I do like to dance!!), I'd rather go to a pub and have a beer with my friends. Depressing...no, not really!! I have a thing for long never ending conversations about "massimi sistemi" (too abstract?) because every time I find out fundamental ideas that never occured me before!!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a last minute person and I enjoy grammar, in any and each sense. It has an inner beauty...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm still a newbie!
Interests
I love traveling and reading. traveling while reading. listening to music, watching sport on tv (need to start being active!), talking to people in a language I can speak (and very keen to improve!) and trying to understand the ones (too many still!!) I cannot.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite writer is Milan Kundera (his novels have a richess which is first of all material, and the physical sensation of loss when you finish one of his books) but I read everything! fantasy, thrillers, historical books. I enjoy the act of reading, the feeling of having a book in your hands, the physical presence of the paper and the abstract subject written on it.
At the moment I'm listening to Muse (I haven't recovered yet from San Siro!!) but I'm a Beck supporter! I prefer rock/punk/ska to commercial as a general rule, though a crazy night at the disco is soooooo good!
I love going to cinema (but it's expensive!!) and watching telefilms (British and American).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunset at the Torre de Belem in Lisbon, Jerusalem, eating a Pastel de Belem in Belem (Lisbon), living alone in a foreign country.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've always thought that I was very good at speaking/writing foreign languages, but the more I see the more I learn that...I have a lot to learn!! In particular speaking skills!! I'm always ready to explain what I know and keen to share my thoughts and experiences with everyone!
