Originally from Vancouver, Canada where I was doing school to become a nurse! I decided to take a break from school and do some traveling during my gap year! I’m currently living in Paris as au pair until summer 2020! I’m hoping to travel around Europe on some weekend trips and when I can during my time off! I enjoy new adventures and experiences whether it be from hiking, restaurants or just walking around and exploring a new city! I’m pretty active and enjoy sports like hockey and swimming!

Not a huge music person, I usually prefer listening to podcasts - but when I do listen to music anything I can sing along with and dance to easily is usually my go to!! I’m a huge nerd when it comes to Harry Potter - my all time favourite book and movie series!!

One amazing thing I’ve done is participate in a program to help Chinese students learn English! I went to China for a month when I was 16, along with several other Canadians, and helped run workshops and activities for Chinese students to practice their English with some native English speakers! We introduced them to a lot of Canadian culture as well by playing hockey with them and teaching about Canadian geography etc.!!

I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor back home in Canada before moving to Paris, so I can offer you some tips on the pool if you’re looking to improve your swimming! I would love to learn more about cooking/recipes from different countries!! I’m hoping to get to know new people, learn about a new culture and just share stories with amazing people from all around the world!!
