If you've been reading my blog you know I'm a pilates freak - and by pilates, I mean waffles.

ABOUT ME

We spent our first year of marriage backpacking around Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. We have recently returned to Iowa City to catch our breath and save up for future travels!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have surfed just once and are excited to begin hosting! We can guarantee lots of laughs to anyone we meet along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We didn't learn of CouchSurfers until our year of travels had nearly ended so unfortunately we didn't get to participate as much as we would have like to. We hope to do meet more surfers in our travels in the future but for now look forward to hosting!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Jen: I shook hands with Barack Obama! He was campaigning at the Iowa State Capitol before the Democratic caucus. I was working as a legislative clerk and the representative I worked for invited me along with him to a private speech Mr. Obama was giving to the Democrats. It was awesome! (He's much smaller than he looks on TV.)

Cody: I can breathe fire! My friends and I had just mastered juggling flaming torches when we decided to take it to the next level by spitting mouthfuls of kerosene at one of the torches.

Together: Scuba diving the Poor Knights Island in New Zealand. Hands down one of the sweetest things we've ever done.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Teach: Cody is eager and willing to teach anyone how to do the Rubik's cube or juggle. Jen would love to teach you all the words to Wayne's World.

Learn: We are excited to learn all about each culture we encounter - languages, dances, recipes, you name it. We both want to learn to play the piano and love learning new card games!

Share: We would love nothing more than to buy you a beer while relaxing outdoors and trading stories, experiences and jokes. Also, we'd like to challenge you to a game of cribbage.
