An elderly woman once came up to me and auspiciously burst into tears and said, "I tried to kill myself but I failed and I wasn't invited to my sister's funeral for a last goodbye because of it." My heart shook with love and compassion as my body roared in silence as I looked into her innocent eyes and heard my voice respond, "You have done nothing wrong honey. I am so glad that you're still here. Your heart will heal. I love you," and she burst into tears again. I saved her life that day and it was as if I could hear her eyes whisper, "Thank you."
