I live in Minneapolis with my husband and cat. I've been traveling a lot recently for two reasons -- shape note singing and food.

I'm terrible at planning but I love doing things.

I really have gotten into Shape Note Singing -- aka Sacred Harp Singing. It's a traditional community style of singing rooted in the command to "sing and pluck the strings of the heart."

Sacred Harp is community-focused and completely a participatory activity -- we sing with and for each other. It's way great.
