ABOUT ME

I'm just a typical 18 year old living in the nation's capital. Of course, I don't know what I want to do with my life - but then again, who really does? Right now, it looks like I'm going into teaching English, but I'm sure that will change. The only thing I know for sure is that I want to travel. I want to see as much of the world and experience as many things as possible. Because, as the existentialists say, "it doesn't matter what you do because we're all just going to die" - so I say have as much fun as you can!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm super eclectic. Music: hard to say, anything good; from Brahms to Mingus, from The Smashing Pumpkins to the Violent Femmes and French Accordion classics - I like anything that's good, evokes emotion or is just plain creative. Same with movies - but they have to have a good story AND be well made. I look at those things; camera angles and timing, dialog, direction, etc. Little things bug me or leave me astounded. Books: I read mostly plays and non-fiction (philosophy, politics, religion, etc.)
