ABOUT ME

Theater Brama was founded in 1996 by Daniel Jacewicz. In 23 years we have created many original works, which have been prized by many theatre festivals and received several of the most prestigious awards (e.g. Odin's Festuge, Łódzkie Spotkania Teatralne, Malta in Poznan, Konfrontacje in Lublin, Reminiscencje in Krakow, Zero Budget Festiwal at The Grotowski Center created by Thomas Richards and Mario Biagini, Theatre of the 8th Day, Gardzieniece, Stella Polaris - Norway). No matter where Brama performs we always move both jury and audience with our special style of sometimes controversial theatre.

PHILOSOPHY

We like to feel alive - not just in an every day sort of way - but to really feel alive. To experience the kind of moments that make you think "WOW, this is what life is all about". We do our best to live life to the fulllest and make magic happen as often as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are new to the couch surfing website but have shared our space with both friends and strangers many times. We have also enjoyed the hospitality of many peoples couches. Many of our friends have had great experiences and met wonderful people through couch surfing. We are interested in both surfing and hosting.

There is not enough space here to write about all the things we are interested in, but just to name a few - theatre, music (especially traditional and folk), art, culture, heritage, travel, meeting new people, experiencing magical moments, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Everyday is amazing, but the most amazing experience for our theatre is to be with people. Both on stage and off our best experiences come from meeting new people and sharing our experiences with them.

Teatr Brama is a well know alternative theatre company. We regularly offer workshops which help participants utilize intuition and emotion in performance, as well as movement/acrobatics and voice/music.
