About Me

(Updated on 05/04/26, 08:20am)

I’m an easygoing and open-minded person who genuinely enjoys meeting and hosting people from different cultures. Couchsurfing has been a great way for me to connect with individuals from all walks of life. For me, it’s not just about offering a place to stay,it’s about sharing experiences, good conversations, and giving guests a real glimpse of local life in Lesotho.
That said, hosting also comes with its own challenges. I’ve learned that reviews aren’t always fully honest, and sometimes people form opinions based on their perceptions of a country rather than the individual. Because of this, I value honesty, mutual respect, and clear communication,it helps create a better experience for everyone.
I haven’t been hosted myself yet, but I continue to open my home to travelers while learning more about the realities of budget travel. When you stay with me, I appreciate a sense of gratitude and understanding, this is a home, not a hotel or Airbnb.
Please note that I no longer offer a private room. Guests sleep in the living room, where I provide a mattress, clean blankets, access to the bathroom, kitchen, and WiFi to make your stay comfortable.
I’m someone who has my own way of doing things, so please always ask before using anything in the house, especially appliances, as some may work differently. Safety matters to me, and I like to keep things simple and clear. Basic house etiquette is important: washing hands before using the kitchen, keeping things clean, and leaving shoes by the door (indoor shoes are available).
I also value privacy and respect when it comes to photos and videos. Please ask before taking or posting pictures of me or my friends, and be mindful of what you share online. We all have personal and professional lives, and consideration goes a long way.
To make your stay smooth, please plan your own meals where possible, as my schedule can be busy. I provide access to the kitchen, but I prefer to handle certain chores myself to maintain my standards. Personal hygiene and cleanliness are non-negotiable.
Ultimately, let’s make this experience work for both of us. Mutual respect, honesty, and good energy create the best stays and connections.
Note: To confirm you’ve read and understood my house rules, please start your message with “Hello T.”
