I've been planning to travel and my partner found this site. Seems to offer a more genuine approach to travel and experience in a new country. This offers a chance to find out about the city/country from the actual inhabitants, rather than a travel website/help desk. Couchsurfing also gives one the ability to meet welcoming people.
