My name is Theodore Brinkofski -- I go by either Theo or Teddy -- and I grew up in Somerset, New Jersey. In high school and college I was a competitive runner, but these days I prefer walking or hiking. I went to Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where I received a diverse training in the liberal arts. I engaged in extracurriculars and I started a few different small businesses in Ithaca. One of them was an agricultural investment in Arizona, so I moved west in 2013 and have lived in the desert since then. I enjoy philosophy, politics, food theory (diet), and all types of physical activity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends hosted different couch surfers in Ithaca during 2012 and it was fun meeting people from all over. Currently, I'm visiting Israel and I'd like to learn as much as I can about those who live here.

All popular music, hip hop, classical. I enjoy movies that have emotional soundtracks, like Titanic and Jurassic Park, and I like adventure movies like Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean. I like reading books about history and political theory; my favorite philosopher is Jean Jaques Rousseau.
