What can i say that hasn't yet been said?

After speaking with several couchsurfing host
from different parts of the country and world there seems to be a correlation when it comes to lack of references after being hosted

For instance in my case, although Ive hosted over 50 different people from different parts of the USA and globe, I only have a handful of references to show for... hmmm, Why ? - you ask...Well, it seems like many travelers (especially those on a budget or first time traveling abroad), are new CS users that take advantage of this awesome Travel platform. Whom certainly intend to travel at the extremely lowest costs possible, (which is totally cool buy me btw,) or simply don't want to go through the hazzle of searching and possibly overpaying for booking a mediocre hotels overseas.

Others travelers genuinely don't want to bother going through extensive hostel, hotels Airbnb,etc., search/book for each city they'll visit. Especially not for a likely crowded, and in many cases dirty hostel. Hence they sign up, create a free profile , send request(s),etc.,

Yet most of them never come back to Couchsurfing anyway so really, they don't care either way. And others only ever do return to CS if they wish to travel again in the near future.
To be or not to be
To use and abuse the system -- Like people that are homeless due to drug addictions or giving up on life, not even trying or those individuals transitioning to find a new place to live or scouting the area, living for free, with very couchsurfers or the older perverts for a month or two before they theoretically claim to move to study and or find a job? It's like if I were to claim to be hungry,beg for food, even though I just ate but would id definitely have food for later! But maybe not exactly like that but you get the gist of it LOL

As outrageous as it may sound, it seems like their take on Couchsurfing is completely different than the true couch surfing ideology.

In the US we have a few different terms like, freeloaders, bums, lowlifes, leaches, scoundrels, Lazy and carefree- go-with-the-flow, wherever the wind takes them ppl. And unfortunately without much righteous dignity in their own self reliance, pride in work ethic or accomplishments- having a cruel and devastating sense of entitlement and sometimes lacking basic even self respect for themselves not caring how or what they eat and how they feel. but most importantly, Iack Integrity. The number one disease in young adolescents worldwide is depression!

Sad but so true.people that don't have dreams or aspirations and just wish to live off the land or off other people without actually putting any effort and contributing to society or at the very least to better themselves. which in hand would result in being employed and not being dependent on this platform to live off. It's a common thread but I have learned to read through the lines and they essentially get weeded out.

I personally don't call them couchsurfers
I call them couch bums or couch bullies lol
Having said that, other obvious reasons might includ le: The basic lack of social knowledge to show appreciation or the Ignorance due to being self absorbed, preoccupied with other facts of Life lol when I do host people and sometimes it's more than 2, even four ppl at once NONE of them leave a reference!
Which is mind-boggling cuz of my kind hospitality, cool personality and trustworthiness...

In any case, enough about them. Here's a little bit about my nizzle:
Vivacious, outgoing and always ready to meet and greet couchsurfers, travelers and locals (as long as they are not sick LOL). I love and love to be loved by family and friends with an intent in reaching body, soul and mind satisfaction.
Whereas others carry loads of problems I tend to relax and can definitely let go. I like to dwell on the solitud and peacefulness of myself and my surroundings or be veey social and interactive!

Most importantly, my personal character and word stand for themselves. If i say I will do something, i will try to deliver without compromising my right to think and speak freely. All while acting accordingly.

What you seek is out there, you just have to look harder! It never hurts to ask but I feel if you can do it yourself try your best tin everything that you do..
and you may accomplish something new!

What a wonderful world this is right? I mean apart from people disappearing almost 1 million children every year in the United States diseases death poverty, it's still a wonderful world. And am I grateful everyday single day and hour I am alive because life is miracle...just to be born, able to breathe every few seconds. Although there are so many different trials difficulties tribulations that I encounter I tend to rely on the positive which keeps me afloat and specialist sane.

I Thank God for being physically and mentally healthy and able to wake up and get out of bed each day such a great blessing! but even when times are rough I still think God because if the precious miracle of Life he gives. Everyday is a miracle and if we don't take advantage, it may slip away,or should I say essentially we all will perish that is the general life cycle. Time is precious we have a certain amount of heartbeats only....Essentially,Do what you can while you still can, if you can't find something else to do, as long as your life permits it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To lend a helping hand to true travelers not freeloaders lol

Travelers that want to take regular showers, do laundry or cook whatever they want.

Hosting is cool, It is totally awesome at times. yeah, no worries. just clean and leave everything as it was before so we have no problems, would'ya?

If it makes sense to me and the traveler shows common sense, courtesy, leave a reference, then that traveler will always have a safe place and warm meal here in Beautiful LA with me.

Sorry no pets, children, couples or men are allowed.

This is my home not a hotel so please respect my simple rules. it sounds mean but it's true and i don't hide the fact that i will always prefere an overnight visitor to be:
A. Clean
B. Well Mannered ( usually females).
VS burping or farting out loud with zero to slim behavioural skills (mostly dudes).
