About Me

Hi, I’m Ted.
Self-proclaimed software engineer (translation: professional Googler of error messages), part-time overthinker, and full-time collector of “What am I doing with my life?” moments.

I don’t travel to “find myself” (I checked, I’m still stuck with me). I travel to collect weird stories, eat food I can’t pronounce, and prove that fried chicken is basically the world’s unofficial language.

I love music, tech, and asking big questions like:
“Am I here for healing… or just for the WiFi and content?”
Spoiler: usually both.

Yes, I enjoy parties, the chaotic, questionable kind where you end up dancing with strangers or screaming the wrong lyrics with too much confidence. Bars, live gigs, spontaneous night outs? Sign me up. Hangovers? I’ll ghost.

When I’m not pretending to have my life together, I’m usually outdoors, hiking, biking, or wandering aimlessly like a discount philosopher who forgot his map.

Also into deep convos, pointless walks, snacks I can’t pronounce, and broken plans (because let’s be honest, those always turn into the best adventures).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels are boring, hostels are hit or miss, and I’d rather meet real humans than argue with another check-in machine. I’m here to collect stories, not just stamps. To share laughs, swap playlists, maybe overthink life at 2 AM with strangers who accidentally become friends. Also… let’s be honest: Couchsurfing is basically the only app where “sleeping on a stranger’s couch” sounds adventurous instead of suspicious. If you have snacks, deep convos, or a broken plan, I’m already interested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done it. I've achieved peak selflessness. I attended my sister's graduation and bravely sacrificed my right to see the Arctic Monkeys concert. Bow down, mortals. I've reached the highest level of martyrdom... and am now dead inside.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
How to Google error messages like a pro (and pretend it’s “debugging”).
That YOLO investing is fun until you realize rent isn’t optional.
Music trivia no one asked for but everyone secretly enjoys.
How to look like you have your life together while actually just winging it.

Learn:
How people manage to “just vibe” without overthinking the WiFi speed.
New ways to get lost outdoors without looking like I need a rescue team.
Why hangovers exist (seriously, science owes us answers).
Anything about cultures, food, or tech conspiracies, you’ll have my full attention.

Share:
My questionable travel stories that sound fake but aren’t.
Playlists that go from “healing” to “chaotic karaoke” in 3 songs.
Random deep thoughts that probably belong on a midnight podcast.
Snacks. Always snacks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories: From weird travel moments to “I can’t believe that happened” tales. (Guaranteed at least one laugh or one “wtf.”)
Music & Playlists: Anything from healing vibes to chaotic karaoke fuel.
Cooking attempts: I can cook… sometimes. Worst case, you get comedy out of it.
Tech help: Need your WiFi to stop acting possessed? I’m your guy.
Outdoor adventures: Down for hikes, random walks, or getting lost together (intentionally or not).
Good vibes: Deep convos, bad jokes, and the illusion that I know what I’m doing in life.
