I'm an outgoing, tall, loud, smiling American man with too many interests and not enough time. I have always loved helping, communicating, and learning from people, as well as challenging myself; hence my decision to study Mandarin as well as other languages.

My biggest hobby is music; I have been singing from a young age, and can play guitar, clarinet, and a handful of other western instruments. Recently I've been studying erhu, which is sweet. I create and compose my own music, ranging from singer/songwriter to electronic to rap.

Besides this, I dig art, reading, philosophy, history, and linguistics.

I was completely changed after living in Beijing with a group of Americans during the summer of my Junior year. After that moment I knew I would return to China, and hopefully travel around to other places as well.
