ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Teddy from Korea.
Below is what I wrote maybe 3-4 years ago. Now I'm in Korea and working for IT company.
I've lived in Seoul and I want to invite nice people in my home as Couchsurfing host did for me.
So, if you feel interested on my, feel free to contact me!
------------
I've stayed in Perth for 4 months. Now I'm plannin to move to Melbourne.
I want to be a friend of you and also make good memories in my life.
Let me introduce myself quickly.
I'm a student in one of the best uni in Korea.
The reason I came here is to improve English and experience new things,
not to mention many friends from various cultures.
I'm very happy if I will be your friend.
I like playing sports, cycling, drinking alcohol and even just reading books and talking in a quiet place.
I've met some friends who wanna learn Korean and can give me some help about English, and quiet place is usually good for learning.
and even I've been doing skype with my friends.
There are many ways we can be good friends.
Thank you. hope to get your mail soon.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to do what I really want to do.
So, I want to hear many stories from the various people.
For 20 years, I think I just followed Korean Education System.
Now, I should choose my own way.
So, I really wanna consider various directions.
Don't follow other's opinion, But listen to their experience And choose what I really want to do.
Moreover, I you choose, don't give up and try to get the fruit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've got one experience in Melbourne.
I stayed at a Jewish person's house.
As it was my first time, I wanted to treat him Korean culture. So, I cooked Korean pork barbeque, but unfortunately he is Jewish. Despite that, he tasted a little bit and tried not to make me uncomfortable!
In addition, he brought me footy game and let me watch it! Because footy is not popular sports, it was new to me and also nice!
Although it was my first time, it was nice and also I want to keep meeting nice people like Peter in Melboune.
Interests
I really like sports.
I like playing basketball, soccer, riding bikes, swimming, running, skiing and so on.
Also, I'm big fan of European Soccer,
so Champions League always makes me excited.
When I arrived in Australia, I wanted to improve my English, so I always meet many people and try to hang out with them and share the story.
By doing so, I realized how differently every people think and it's really interesting to listen to their story.
I met people who immigrated in Australia, people who escaped from their countries as an asylum seekers,
and people who came to Australia to get different experience.
it made me realize how much I like meeting people!
Also, I like dancing and singing even though I'm not good in those. I like enjoyable atmosphere and if you are ready to dance and sing, I'd like to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books
If I do something I really like, that is my happiness.
So, try to find what I really like, and try to make it my job!
But it is a bit hard for me, so I want to listen to other people's life story.
Thus, my 2nd philosohy is that listen to my friends' story! Every experience shared by other people will be good asset to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Before I went overseas, I thought foreigners are not people who I can share feelings. But they just use different language and they also emphathize what I feel.
When I was in Perth, Australia, even though I am not a sincere Christian(my mum and grandma are christian), people in church treated me like family.
Even though I was alone, I wasn't lonely and I felt very happy in Perth.
So, when I left Perth, some of them invited me to their house and besides, drove me to the airport!
I won't forget the way people in Perth treated me.
