ABOUT ME

I'm 52 years old. I've travelled a lot in my life and have been lucky to explore lots of Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas
I work as a nurse in Brighton, England but I'm planning to take some long breaks and to start travelling again.
I usually follow a vegetarian diet, I don't smoke, and don't drink much alcohol.
In the past I've tried to combine my travels with my nursing skills so have been volunteering on projects in Zambia, Thailand, India, and Sierra Leone

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing too deep....just live and let live, try to make a positive contribution to society while enjoying life as much as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel a lot and I've had many positive experiences with couchsurfing,mostly surfing but also with surfers staying at our place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had wonderful times surfing in Central Asia, Russia, and the USA.

Intereses

Hiking, trekking or any activity that gets me spending lots of time outdoors in beautiful places. I like to camp.
I love to swim.
I'm always reading.
In recent years I've got into running and long distance cycling. I cycled through France and Germany last year. I am planning to cycle in Romania later this year.
I've just started playing 5-a-side football again.

Música, películas y libros

I love music but not loud music!... Old favourites include Talking Heads, Fela Kuti, Tom Waits, but I also like hip hop, drum'n'bass, reggae.

Books...always reading...fiction,science, journalism, travel books.....

Movies...District 9, Attack the Block, Team America, and Planet of the Apes are among my favourites.
