I'm a passionate sports person who loves both winter and summer activities, as long as I can push myself to the limits and learn something new, while also having fun.

As a teenager, I used to compete in freestyle skiing (Too risky !!!) and nowadays switched to less risky activities, such as wakeboarding, snowmobiling, and golf. My dream is to learn how to surf properly!

While I am not chasing adrenaline rushes in my sports, I like to play on my computer, read a good book, or just spend quality time with friends.

I have been an exchange student in the U.S. in 2010-2011, and I have lived in Hong Kong for 10 months in 2016-2017. Now, I will set my sails to be in Kuala Lumpur for the first half of 2019, and I have plans to travel before that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard great stories from my backpacker friends about the couchsurfing platform, and I would love to give it a shot myself, too. I will be traveling alone from Dec 18th 2018 to Feb 15th 2019, so it would be definitely be a pleasure to meet up some locals, and to share stories and make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the LOTR trilogy, and a passionate reader of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot - series.

Pretty much anything goes when it comes down to music, but my personal favorite is probably techno/trance. When I get sick of that, I usually switch on some laidback rap/hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm gonna cheat and name a few;
- Broke my back and still continued skiing for a while that day
- Broke my collarbone and still continued skiing for a while that day
- Split my eardrum (twice) and still continued jumping to water & wakeboarding on those days
- Dislocated my shoulder and still continued wakeboarding
- Was the third person in Finland to land a double flip on wakeboard
- Was in the ten first to land a double flip on skis in Finland

Yes, I can sometimes be stubborn when it comes down to things I love doing :D

As a gratitude for hosting, I can share my stories, crazy things I've done and learned, and tell you about Finland, or about traveling to Europe or Asia.
