Headed to West Palm Beach to escape Canadian coldness!! Help! :)

ABOUT ME

*** Would love to meet with everyone headed to Toronto but because I'm planning my own adventure, at the moment time isn't on my side :( Hit me up in March though and I'll show you around!**

Super Chatty, Super Social, I like learning stuff! I'm on a mission this year. Headed to Nashville & Atlanta USA followed by a trip to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in Australia and hopefully will be wrapped up by a stay in Turin, Italy. Looking for cool peeps that might be down to let me crash :) I love to cook and thank you dinners are totally on the table!!

-At Home -

At home I am a freelance consultant. I help entrepreneurs streamline their buiness'. I also own an event company called T+H Events. We throw cheeky arts and cultures related events (think a Freda Khalo unibrow bash or a Bowie ball!)

I have a wicked group of peeps here that consists of a lot of world travellers! We do our best to show anyone we meet passing through Toronto a wicked time :) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

***Couch Surfing***

Right now I'm looking for fun hosts who are into arts, music, out doorsy stuff and general fun.

I'm a considerate person. I respect peoples space and I prefer to be a clean tidy house guest. This is my long winded way of saying I'm down to help with chores (I lived in a shared house of 7 for 3 years so I know the ropes). I also love cooking and can make some might tasty indian food (among other stuffs)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is a new thing for me. I have a bunch of friends who have said amazing things about couch surfing so I'm excited to try it out!

Interests

Cooking - Vegetarian, Indian & Italian. I'm interested in herbs and love to incorporate lots of fresh herbs and spices. Yum

Dance - Have studied ballet, jazz, hip-hop, salsa and Merengue. For the past 5 years I've been studying Kathak (a South Asian classical dance style from West Bengal)

Fitness - Love Pilates & Yoga. Out doors stuff like hiking and swimming. I'm also interested in learning to surf (but I'm kind of scared hahaha!)

The Arts - Love music, photography and fine art. Everything from Frida Khalo to David Bowie - If it's expressive and kinda off...count me in!

Music Scene & Nightlife - I'm pretty open. I love a good party at a club but I also equally love a dive bar with a killer band. I loooove music so exposure to that scene wherever I go isa must for me.

Bad movies - Have you ever seen Troll 2? It will give Sharknado a run for it's money...and win...

Shoes - Ya I'm a chick - they are my vice...what can I say?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmmmm....

I drove through the Canadian Rockies from Vancouver to Banff & Lake Louise in a mustang convertible with the top down all the way
(I swear that's where giants come from)

I was lucky enough to visit Belur Math while in Calcutta (http://youtu.be/m0LVciwbj4o)... There's not many words for this place

I also visited Shantiniketan which is an incredible village that has a world music and arts school. http://youtu.be/bohvzO9aqcs

I've won a dance contest during Mardi Gras in New Orleans (no I did not show my boobs - cause I'm a boss like that!)
I also did a photo shoot in a bra and tutu during Mardi Gras...actually that whole trip is a story and a half!

I caught 107lb Blue Marlin in the Sea of Cortez (I named him Marcus...he was cute...we let him go)
